Comments: This conceptual artwork is presented in the form of words. The words designate a set of actions a group of artists are to take in executing the work. In a somewhat reflexive manner, the actions they are to take is to critique of this (performance) artwork and post that critique on a canvas board. This particular Conceptual artwork is in reality a prescription for three artworks, viz., the end product that is the canvas board with critiques tacked to it, the individual graded and signed critique/Concept Art forms and the Performance art of the critique and posting actions themselves.
I find the intricate nature of this artwork to be quite elegant.
This artwork was performed at the SDAI Gathering of artists on 6 April 2003. The result is shown below. A video of the event was also recorded for possible use with the artworks of this page.
