On Blogger and Voices

I am naturally curious about things and why they are the way they are. I am also somewhat new to Bloggers thing.  So I wonder about why people post things to a Blogger. I have skimmed a few sites and it seems that most of them are simply people relating things about their life, interests and frustrations/happiness's. But, to whom are they addressing their postings? These thoughts and an urge to write a poem resulted in the following:

Blind Voices

Blogger
A strange name.
A portal for thoughts
We each want to voice.

All of those voices.
So many voices
All into the emptiness.
So many blind voices.

The voices speak
Of ordinary lives
So full of trivia.
Blind voices.

The voices speak
Of mundane things;
Of insightful views.
Blind voices.

The voices call
To other voices
And go unheard.
Blind voices.

Lonely lives.
Tortured lives.
Empty lives.
Blind voices.

So I wonder
About those voices.
Shall I add mine?
Another blind voice.
