Silence.
Sweet silence.
Sense the silence
And savor its sound.
Silence,
Sweet silence,
Magnifies in the meadow
The brook's bubbling babble.
Silence,
Sweet silence,
Flowers forth for the forest
The song bird's solitary soliloquy.
Silence,
Sweet silence,
Removes the righteous ramblings
Of the phony proselytizing politicians.
Silence,
Sweet silence,
Falls on family feuds
Banning their bile bickering.
Silence,
Sweet silence,
Hides the hideous highways
Terminating the tormenting tumult.
Silence,
Sweet silence,
Defends my distant desert
From the city's clamoring cacophony.
Silence,
Sweet silence,
Sets the senseless stage still
To contain my creative contemplations.
Silence,
Sweet Silence,
My sought space of silence,
Sow sensuous serenity about me.
Silence.
Sweet silence.
Sense the silence
And savor its sound.
